There are 10 games to choose from on Tuesday, and our daily NBA tips and best bets have focused on three. See below for our tip between the Kings and Grizzlies, plus two cross-conference games!
This looks like a good spot to fade the Kings, who find themselves barely keeping their heads above water in the West behind a recent four-game losing streak. Health hasn’t been to blame for Sacramento’s recent struggles, but Doug Christie’s defence has been as after allowing an average of 120 points to opponents over their last three games. A two-day break is handy, but with a 5-8 record against the spread in this spot, my money is with the Grizz.
Tip: Back the Grizzlies to Cover the Line (+2.5 Points)
Happy to pull the trigger on the Raptors here to cover as road underdogs. These non-conference games have been money for Toronto all season, playing to a league-best 19-5 record against the spread. Both sides came up short on the road last night, but with losing records in the second half of a back to back, there’s a good chance the Raptors at least keep this game competitive.
Tip: Back the Raptors to Cover the Line (+8.5 Points)
This is as good a spot as any to back the Blazers. Chauncey Billups’ side should be playing with real confidence following last night’s three-point win over the Raptors, not to mention their league-leading record against the spread versus non-conference opponents, and their 9-1-1 mark when playing on no rest.
Tip: Back the Blazers to Cover the Line (-5 Points)
