Collingwood v Carlton
Lachie Schultz claimed the Richard Pratt Medal and looked every bit the best player on the ground. His relentless pressure and scoreboard impact earn him the three votes. Darcy Cameron was a dominant presence in the ruck, clearly winning his battle with Tom De Koning to take home two votes.

Geelong v Melbourne
Patrick Dangerfield reminded everyone what he can do when stationed forward, finishing with 20 disposals and three goals in a vintage performance. Bailey Smith continued to impress in Cats colours, showing class and composure to earn two votes in the win.

Adelaide v Gold Coast
Billed as the match of the round, this one lived up to the hype. Despite the loss, Riley Thilthorpe’s five-goal haul made him impossible to ignore for best on ground honours. Izak Rankine wasn’t far behind, leading all players in both clearances and contested possessions to lock in the two votes.

Brisbane v Richmond
Lachie Neale was simply everywhere. The Brownlow fancy racked up a round-high 42 disposals, making the most of a soft Tigers midfield to bank maximum votes. Hugh McCluggage and Josh Dunkley rounded out the vote-getters after strong all-round games.

Sydney v North Melbourne
Will Hayward looks set for the first three-vote game of his career after booting four goals in a clinical performance. Luke Parker played a starring role against his old side with 27 disposals and two goals, enough to sneak into the votes.
