Daily Harness Racing Tips – Tuesday 12th August

Bronte Nieuwenburg has outlined her selections and suggested game plan for Tuesday’s card at Shepparton.

R1 – 6.02pm – J & A Mazzetti Painting Pace – 1690m

  • 8 – Soap And Bubbles
  • 10 – Soho Darknstormy
  • 7 – Arnies Army
  • 6 – Spirit of Sahara

Soap And Bubbles has a tricky barrier to overcome, but this smart three-year-old filly looks a very progressive type, having won four of her six career starts. Last start, she over-raced, so while the barrier is a challenge to navigate, it may give her the chance to settle in running. Although she’s taking on talented older horses, her personal times have been the best in this field.

BACK: 8 Soap And Bubbles – 2 units (win)

R2 – 6.27pm – Neatline Homes 2yo Maiden Pace – 1690m

  • 5 – Gemmy Lou
  • 7 – Whereswally
  • 8 – Magellan
  • 3 – Ozzie Pearl

Gemmy Lou, a first starter by Sweet Lou, has had two winning trials. In her most recent trial at Bendigo, she settled well before making her winning move up the straight to score under a grip, looking like she had plenty left in reserve. She appears to be a promising type for the McNaultys.

BACK: 5 Gemmy Lou – 3 units (win)

R3 – 7.04pm – Munro & Associates Conveyancing 3yo Pace – 1690m

  • 10 – Ollies The Boss
  • 2 – Owen The Saints
  • 8 – Tivoli
  • 4 – Wazowski

Owen The Saints had to sustain a long run last start and was only beaten late by Tivoli. He’s been super consistent in finding the placings recently, and with the scratching of the barrier one runner, he now gets the ace draw to use here. He has enough gate speed to hold a forward position, giving him options in running. He shapes as a good each-way play.

BACK: 2 Owen The Saints – 1 unit (win) / 2 units (place

R4 – 7.34pm – Saddleworld Bendigo Concession Drivers Pace – 1690m

  • 9 – Rollwitharty
  • 2 – Wow You Can Dance
  • 7 – Interpretation
  • 10 – Foregone Conclusion

Rollwitharty is a consistent runner from the in-form David Miles team, with up-and-coming driver Nick Beale taking the reins. He has the best sectional times in this field and, while he will need some luck from barrier eight, if he can find clear running, he is a strong winning chance.

BACK: 9 Roll With Arty – 2 unit (win)

R5 – 8.04pm – Hygain Concession Drivers Trot – 2190m

  • 4 – Love Who
  • 6 – Karbine
  • 9 – Frankythefrenchman
  • 2 – Abbie

R6 – 8.34pm – Willowood Farm Pace – 2190m

  • 10 – Cee Cee Lou
  • 4 – Evil Eye
  • 6 – Into The Harkness
  • 8 – Sir Sonny Maguire

R7– 9.04pm – Vhrc Pace – 2190m

  • 9 – Tex Goes Bang
  • 5 – Our Mystery Bet
  • 7 – Rocket Me
  • 10 – Alta Bayamo
