ZULU SHARP (1) was a dominant winner over 630m at Nowra last start, clocking 36.05 and romping home by 10 lengths.
That was the best time of the night and a particularly impressive performance.
He has also broken 30 seconds over 520m at Wentworth Park, a time his rivals may struggle to match.
With the speed to jump straight to the front, he can take control and prove hard to run down.

ABSCONDING (1) has plenty of talent, and her second over 472m at Bulli last start came after showing her customary early pace.
Three starts ago, she clocked a sharp 29.75 to win over 520m at Wentworth Park, before contesting the semi-final of the Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase two starts ago.
Kristy Sultana’s chaser has also won four of six at Richmond, underlining her strong record around a turn.
This is her first look at the course and distance, but her explosive early speed gives her every chance to make box 1 count and go all the way.
SOMETHING DARK (7) has an excellent record over this course and distance, with two wins from four starts and no finishes outside the first two.
Randall Walter’s chaser is unbeaten in two starts from box 7, including his personal-best 18.23 here over 320m.
He has finished second at Richmond in his past two starts, but both came from different boxes and he returns to a draw that has brought out his best.
With the pace to cross from the outside and take the lead, he can use his box-seven record to get back to winning ways.
HELLO PRETZEL (1) brings strong Gosford form, winning three of her five starts before finishing seventh over 515m last start after having excuses.
Her recent sprint form includes back-to-back wins over 388m, clocking 22.03 and 22.21.
This is her first look at Richmond, but Shannon Boyd’s chaser has shown she can begin sharply and win from a variety of boxes.
With no obvious early speed drawn alongside her, she can hold the rail and make the most of the inside draw.
