With eight races to go in the 2025 Formula One World Championship, the constructor’s title could be decided at this weekend’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
With a lead of 337 points over Ferrari, the all-conquering McLaren team can take care of business themselves by winning the race and having their other car finish second or third.
Failing that, they will need to outscore Ferrari by nine points, while also avoiding Mercedes picking up 12 more points them and Red Bull earning 33 more points this weekend.
However it is probably worth noting that in nine of the 16 Grands Prix in 2025, McLaren has done a first-second or first-third combination.
Perhaps the biggest reason to want the constructors’ title to be decided this weekend is because it would free up Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri to race freely over the final seven events as they battle for the drivers’ world championship.
With the race starting at an Australian friendly time of 9:00pm AEST, we’ve got plenty to look forward to this weekend, and you can find our best bets for the race below.

Race Winner
Thanks to Max Verstappen winning in Monza two weeks ago we have some value on offer in this market.
You can just about cross off the Dutchman for this race though, his car is just not up to scratch and has not backed up well from winning a race.
The conspiracy theorists will tell you that the British team McLaren will be favouring their British driver Lando Norris which does make him a decent value play at $3.00.
But after Piastri played the good teammate in Italy, you have to think he is going to get a good break this time around.
He won this race last year and is well placed to go back to back in Baku.
Oscar Piastri to Win @ $2.75
Podium Finish
Charles Leclerc has been there or thereabouts over the last few races, with two podiums and two fourth place finishes from his last four events.
While it would be good to get him at a slightly higher price, the $1.87 on offer isn’t too bad.
And if you are feeling really brave you can multi him up with the McLarens for a solid trifecta.
Charles Leclerc Podium Finish @ $1.87
SGM: Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc Podium @ $5.66
Top 6 Finish
The top six in this market are the top six finishers from Monza, but that group is almost certain to be broken up this weekend.
After all, both Ferraris are not far removed from a double retirement in the Netherlands.
Not to mention Lando Norris posted an “technically I was classified as finished” 18th place in that same race as well.
So who will take over that spot?
I still like the look of Alex Albon whose last five races have seen him go eighth, sixth, 15th, fifth and seventh.
All up this season he has six top six finishes and looks a much better shot than the two guys above him in the market.
Alex Albon Top 6 Finish @ $3.50
Points Finish
The two names at even money leap out as strong plays in this market.
Gabriel Bortoleto has been one of the standout performers from the chasing pack over the last few races.
The Brazilian driver has three points finishes from his last four starts and his Sauber has started to show some signs of life.
Meanwhile Isack Hadjar has registered a third and tenth from his last two starts as he looks to finish the season on a strong note.
One or both of those look like great chances to break into the top ten.
Gabriel Bortoleto Points Finish @ $2.00
Isack Hadjar Points Finish @ $2.00
Azerbaijan Grand Prix Same Game Multi
Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris Podium, George Russell Top 6, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Antonelli Points Finish @ $7.29
