BEST BET
PAUL CASEY
It has been a while between drinks for the veteran Englishman Paul Casey – the 2021 Dubai Desert Classic to be exact – but the 48yo looks a big chance this week.
He comes off a T-24 at the European Masters and posted three Top 5s on LIV this year – including a fifth at this course in March.
Ranks fourth in GIR and sixth in Driving Accuracy on LIV.
BEST VALUE
CALEB SURRATT
Young talent Caleb Surratt leads LIV in Putting Average and ranks sixth in Birdies so that naturally puts him in the mix here.
His form is strong with a T-7 in the International Series Philippines event last week.
Needs to get over the hump for the first time but this is a very suitable tournament.
BEN CAMPBELL
Kiwi Ben Campbell won this tournament in 2023 and then finished runner-up here last year so clearly has a fondness for the course.
He unsurprisingly profiles nicely ranking ninth on the Asian Tour in GIR and 10th in Driving Accuracy on the LIV circuit.
Expect a big tournament from the New Zealander.
BEST ROUGHIES
PETER UIHLEIN
Five-time winner Peter Uihlein is probably past his best at this point of his career, but the LIV player looks a decent chase here.
His putting is the key.
Uihlein ranks fifth on LIV in Putting Average and finished T-6 here in the LIV event in March.
GAGANJEET BHULLAR
Indian veteran Gaganjeet Bhullar has been playing some super golf of late with Top 20 finishes in the last three International Series events.
He ranks fourth in Driving Accuracy on the Asian Tour.
