KYRIAN JACQUET VS CAMERON NORRIE
BACK NORRIE TO WIN 2-0 @ $1.85

In-form Cameron Norrie is hunting a third straight French victim in the Moselle Open quarterfinals in the shape of lucky loser Kyrian Jacquet.

World No.27 Norrie rolled Carlos Alcaraz at last week’s Paris Masters, but the seventh seed has had to battle hard in Metz to overcome Valentin Royer (6-3 6-7 6-3) and Arthur Cazaux (6-7 7-6 6-2). The 30-year-old Brit has dropped just one game on serve so far.

Jacquet, ranked 156th, has parlayed a qualifying loss reprieve into his first ATP wins – against compatriots Luca Van Assche (4-6 6-3 6-4) and Dan Added (6-0 6-2).

Norrie is a different proposition for the Challenger Tour regular, however, and this should be a more comfortable outing for the favourite.

NOVAK DJOKOVIC VS NUNO BORGES
BACK DJOKOVIC TO COVER THE GAMES HANDICAP (-4.5) @ $2.00

Novak Djokovic and Nuno Borges square off for the first time in the Moselle Open quarterfinals.

Top seed Djokovic won this tournament way back in 2006. Though his schedule is limited these days, his form remains top-shelf. After winning the Geneva Open, he made the semis at the French Open, Wimbledon, US Open and Shanghai Masters.

The 38-year-old got underway in Metz with a 7-6 6-1 win over Alejandro Tabilo.

World No.47 Borges has put away Stefanos Sakellaridis (7-6 6-3) and Eliot Spizzirri (5-7 6-3 6-4), bouncing back from consecutive first-round exits at the Vienna Open to Daniil Medvedev and the Paris Masters to Learner Tien.

After his shock loss to Valentin Vacherot in Shanghai, Djokovic will be wary of dropping another maiden match-up – and he should be far too good for Borges here.

JESSICA PEGULA VS JASMINE PAOLINI
BACK PEGULA TO WIN 2-0 @ $1.70

Jessica Pegula takes on winless Jasmine Paolini in a crunch WTA Finals round-robin showdown.

Pegula leads the head-to-head 5-1, most recently winning at the 2023 Canadian Masters. But Paolini took out their most recent clash, a 6-4 6-2 result at the Billie Jean King Cup in September.

Fifth seed Pegula arrived in Riyadh in great form, reaching the US Open and China Open semis, and the Wuhan Open final. She upset Coco Gauff first up (6-3 6-7 6-2) before going down in a tough battle with world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka (6-4 2-6 6-3).

Paolini also enjoyed a strong Asian swing – including a win over Iga Swiatek in Wuhan – but has endured a tough week here so far, crashed 6-3 6-1 to Sabalenka and 6-3 6-2 to Gauff.

With Pegula eyeing off a semifinal berth and the out-of-sorts Paolini out of the running, expect the American to take care of business comfortably.

ARYNA SABALENKA VS COCO GAUFF
BACK OVER 22.5 TOTAL GAMES @ $2.10

World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka and defending champion Coco Gauff meet in a crucial WTA Finals round-robin blockbuster.

Gauff has edged 6-5 ahead in an absorbing rivalry, bookending Sabalenka’s victory in the Madrid Masters final in May with a WTA Finals semifinal upset last November and a French Open final triumph in June.

Gauff also beat Sabalenka to clinch the 2023 US Open final, while Sabalenka won high-stakes 2024 semis at the Australian Open and Wuhan Open.

Sabalenka crushed Jasmine Paolini 6-3 6-1 and outlasted Jessica Pegula 6-4 2-6 6-3, avenged her Wuhan Open semifinal loss – he only tournament since winning the US Open.

Gauff went down 6-3 6-7 6-2 to Pegula in her opening assignment but bounced back with an easy 6-3 6-2 defeat of Paolini.

Sabalenka is a warm $1.48 favourite, but with both players capable of making the semis or being bundled out altogether, this looks likely to go the way of six of their 11 encounters to date and require a third set.
