Check out our Friday Racing Tips for June 12th below, featuring our Muswellbrook best bets!
Splash Of Steel gets a great chance to break his maiden today at Muswellbrook.
He is yet to strike in eight trips to the races, but he returned to action with a fine performance to finish on the placegetters’ heels at Scone last month and is open to improvement for it.
With even luck in the run today, he might not be offered a better opportunity to win.

| Second run back. First-up after three months 4th of 9 at Scone Mdn-Sw on May 15 over 1000m, 2.25 len behind Copperline with 59kg at $2.60. Previously second-up eased back early on 8th of 12 at Warwick Farm Super 3yo Mdn-Sw on February 4 over 1200m, on a slow track; 8 len behind Journeyman with 57kg at $11. Improver ready to get off the mark. | |||
Rockthevelio resumes in a winnable race at Muswellbrook.
The Castelvecchio filly showed ability through two starts during her debut prep, placing in maiden races at Kembla Grange and Goulburn.
She’s trialled up well and can hit the ground running today.

Hulu takes winning form into another nice race at Muswellbrook today.
The Showtime mare has been up and racing for a while, but she has continued to turn in high quality performances, winning two of her last four starts including a sharp effort at Scone last time out.
This is probably the easiest task she’s been set for a while and she can win again.

| Recent form sound. At the latest run favourite; won by a nose at Scone Aberdeen May 31 over 1300m on a heavy track defeating Hellcibell with 59kg at $2. The start before that 3rd of 16 at Scone Countrycup on May 15 over 1400m, 1.3 len behind Shotgun Bella carrying 57.5kg at $26. Does rise 2.0kg on that win, but still looks a solid chance. | |||
He’s My Warrior rates as a key chance at nice odds in the last at Muswellbrook today ($9 at publish).
The Hallowed Crown gelding won each of his first two runs back this time before filling the minors in BN74 company last time out.
He’s a month between starts but has been kept up to the mark with a recent trial, and we can have an each way play at the price.
