Hot Spark looks well placed coming out of the two tonight at Nowra.

Hot Spark was never in the contest from Box 6 here last week, but her form prior to that was excellent, and included two dominant victories in the last month.

If she steps well, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.

Golfer Girl rates as a key winning chance at Nowra.

Golfer Girl has won just twice in 16 trips to the races since debuting, but she’s turned several competitive performances and raced well around some quality opposition.

While Box 8 is probably the knock, she’s in peak order this week and can fight out the finish again with appropriate luck in the run.

I thought that Spring Layla represented value in Race 6 at Nowra tonight.

Spring Layla hasn’t enjoyed the best of luck at her last three appearances, but her form prior to those was strong, and included consecutive victories over this route last month.

If she can muster some good early speed, which she is more than capable of, she’ll be tough to catch in something of this quality.

Princess Ella is my best bet of the night.

The daughter of Tommy Shelby has been racing in peak form recently, winning three of her last six starts, placing a further two times and finding form around some quality chasers in the process.

I’m expecting her to lob up front from the low draw and make all of her own luck again.
