Blackthorn won on debut at Muswellbrook back in January before being sold, sent north and resuming to win in BM60 company here earlier this month.
With natural improvement, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.

The Casino Prince gelding struck in BM62 company at Ladbrokes Geelong two back, while he wasn’t disgraced when fourth in stronger company at Mornington last time out.
In peak order today and from the good draw, he shouldn’t have any excuses.

Pravaha takes winning form into another nice race at Pakenham today.
The Prague filly returned to action with a fine performance to fill the minors over 1300m at Seymour before breaking her maiden at Swan Hill last time.
This is harder, but she’s open to further improvement and can go on with it.

Storm Capital looks well placed to win today at Townsville.
The Capitalist gelding hasn’t been seen at the races since mid-April, but he turned in several fine efforts earlier this year, winning in maiden company here before producing a couple of competitive performances in stronger company.
Something like this looks an ideal launchpad.
