SWORD OF LEGACY was a dominant winner in maiden company here three runs back, and after filling the minors when rising noticeably in grade at Doomben two back, she was never in the contest when caught wide at her latest.
She steps out this week in peak order and is drawn to receive the run of the race this time.

| Most recently 14th of 17 at this track in the LR Qld Day on June 6 over 1200m, 5 len behind Earn To Burn carrying 55kg at $26. The start before that 3rd of 13 at Doomben Darby Mccarthy on May 23 over 1110m, slow going 0.9 len behind Earn To Burn carrying 54kg at $14. Best form stacks up so give her another chance. | |||
TARZING is yet to turn in a poor performance in four appearances since debuting, winning two of three starts during his debut prep, while he returned to action earlier this month to fill the minors behind Surf’s Up over this route.
Having won his only other second up assignment so far, he has been competitive on a soft track and has drawn ideally this week under the in-form Siena Grima.

| Second-up. First-up after four months ran on strongly from last on the turn; 3rd of 8 at this track 3&4yo Bm72 on June 13 over 1400m, on a slow track; 1.75 len behind Surf’s Up carrying 54.5kg at $4.20. After dusting off the cobwebs with a decent performance to finish seventh, albeit only beaten a length at Randwick when resuming in April, KING PEDRO has since finished the runner up in races at Gosford and back here at Rosehill, finding form around some credible opposition.
His latest run over the 2000m looked to be that of a horse crying out for further – he gets the mile and a half this week, while a substantial drop in the weights into this contest also enhances his claims.

| Recent form sound. At the latest run 2nd of 9 at this track Bm78 on June 13 over 2000m, on a slow track; nose behind Nobler carrying 57.5kg at $4.40. Before that ran on from midfield; 2nd of 16 at Gosford Bm78 on May 9 over 2100m, neck behind Monopolistic carrying 58.5kg at $12. Proven at the trip and due for a change of luck. | |||
PINITO was nothing short of outstanding on her way to winning in Group 3 company two starts back, but nothing went right in a stronger race last time out and she finished off the pace.
In peak order and dropping back into arguably weaker company this week, she can find a prominent position in the run from a low draw and give herself every chance to bounce back.

| Last start 11th of 15 at this track Nat Clas Fm-Wfa on June 6 over 1600m, 4 len behind Surfin’ Bird with 57kg at $4.80. The race before that ran on from midfield and won by a nose at Doomben G3 F&M-Swp May 23 over 1600m on a rain affected track defeating Hyperbolic with 57.5kg at $4.20.
