Norway vs England Predictions – Quarter-Finals (Match 3)
England arrive in Miami with their tails up after a dramatic 3-2 win over Mexico, but this is no soft quarter-final draw against a Norway side fresh off a statement 2-1 upset over Brazil.
The Three Lions have plenty of match-winners in the final third, with Harry Kane still the focal point, Jude Bellingham crashing into dangerous pockets, and Bukayo Saka giving England a reliable outlet out wide. If England can move the ball quickly through midfield and isolate Norway’s fullbacks, they should create enough looks.
Norway, though, are a nightmare matchup in transition. Erling Haaland is the obvious danger man, having scored seven goals at the tournament and found the net in 14 straight competitive games for Norway, while Martin Odegaard remains the chief creator between the lines.
Tactically, this sets up as England’s control and wide combinations against Norway’s direct, attacking shape. Norway have the size to worry England from set-pieces and the pace of players like Antonio Nusa to stretch them on the break, but they’ve also conceded regularly throughout the tournament.
This feels more open than the France-Morocco quarter-final. Norway have enough punch to score, but England’s depth and tournament experience gives them the edge late.
Prediction: Over 2.5 Goals @ $1.73
Value: England & Over 2.5 Goals @ $2.70
Player Pick: Harry Kane Anytime Goalscorer @ $1.87
