COLUMBUS returned to action with a dominant performance in BM64 company up at Newcastle but underperformed as an odds-on favourite Rosehill last time out.
Fitter third-up and back to the midweeks, he gets plenty of ticks today and can bounce back.

She’s had the benefit of a couple of trials ahead of today’s return and has options in the run from the rails draw.

SATURDAYS GIRL has continued to improve with racing this campaign and was rewarded when kicking clear to record an easy win over 1350m at Doomben last time out.
Sticking to that trip today, she’s in peak order, retains the services of Ryan Maloney and should be able to find a nice position in the run from the inside draw.

Having won a BM68 sprint out at Hawkesbury at his first run back from a break, THE LITTLE GENERAL was flat at his second run at Canterbury, but he was only just denied in midweek metro company last time out.
He steps out this afternoon in peak order and can make all of his own luck from a prominent position in the run.
