We have Ming Dynasty Quality tips and predictions for the Group 3 1400m race at Rosehill on Saturday.
Ming Dynasty Quality odds don’t have much separating the favourites, so there is a lot of value for punters to enjoy.
It was a big run from Genesis Runner last start behind Plagiarism, and our Ming Dynasty Quality predictions expect him to win on Saturday.
The 3YO looks to have a bright future at this level, and he showed that when winning at Newcastle last preparation. It only came at Newcastle, but it was a stylish win, and there is a lot of hype around this runner.
Barrier 3 will give Kerrin McEvoy every chance to find a good spot in the running, which is crucial for this race. He’ll likely sit fourth on the outside, and he can unleash his good turn-of-foot in the straight.
The $3.90 odds are generous from the team, so we’re picking him to win, and those odds will shorten.

| Second run back. First-up after two months sat on the pace when 2nd of 10 in the G3 Up and Coming Stakes at this track on August 29 over 1300m, 0.7 len behind Plagiarism carrying 53kg at $4.40. Previously second-up won by 2.25 len in a 2yo Hcp at Newcastle on June 27 over 1300m in the wet defeating Street Jewel carrying 56.5kg at $2.05. Genuine contender who gets map favours. | |||
Blistering speed is with I’m Ya Huckleberry, who found a soft race at Wyong and made easy work of it.
The Waterhouse/Bott-trained colt looked good when running second on debut behind Incognito at Randwick before going out for a spell, and he looks to have gained a lot of muscle in the winter.
It can be tough to beat raw speed, and Siena Grima will send him forward and look to see out the 1400m. It won’t be easy to rise in distance from 1200m, but he’s well-trained, and he looks ready to take on this field.
Punters get $4.80, and that’s where we priced him. He should run in the Top 3.

| Third race start. First start raced on the speed and boxed on steadily 2nd of 8 in the G3 Breeders’ Plate at Randwick on October 4 over 1000m, neck behind Incognito carrying 56kg at $2.70. Returned from break favourite; won by 2.5 len in a 3yo Mdn-Sw at Wyong on August 30 over 1200m defeating Never Know carrying 57kg at $1.24. Goes to a new pain barrier today, slim place chance. | |||
Slipping under the radar is Persian Wonder, who won at Canterbury to kick off this preparation before running two solid races.
The 3YO son of Hello Youmzain ran fifth behind Plagiarism in a similar race last start, and although beaten by 2.8 lengths, he was closing well enough to suggest he’ll come on with the run.
He’s bred to enjoy racing as an older horse, and getting the inside draw could be all he needs to get back to his winning ways. There has also been solid betting interest after opening at $15 before drifting to $16.
Late money has come for him, so include him in Ming Dynasty Quality tips.

| Last start 5th of 10 in the G3 Up and Coming Stakes at this track on August 29 over 1300m, 2.75 len behind Plagiarism carrying 56kg at $31. The run before that 6th of 9 in a 3&4yo Bm72 at Randwick on August 8 over 1400m, on a slow track; 2 len behind Avista with 57kg at $14. Deep into the prep and has solid prospects. | |||
Punters get value odds with our Ming Dynasty Quality SRM, which includes our three selected runners.
We have Genesis Runner Top 2, I’m Ya Huckleberry Top 3, and Persian Wonder Top 5, which pays $10.50 for our three-runner SRM.
Genesis Runner pays $2.25 for a Top 2 finish, which is an excellent price, and he’s a must-have for all Ming Dynasty Quality predictions. I’m Ya Huckleberry and Persian Wonder bolster picks to add value.
