DOUBLE VISION (9) resumes in a winnable race at Warwick Farm.
We haven’t seen Double Vision at the races since February, but she turned in some competitive performances during her debut prep, finding form around some decent opposition.
With the benefit of a couple of trials under her belt, she rates as a key chance in something like this on exposed form.

BLESSED EAGLE (11) can return to winning form at Warwick Farm this week.
He’s only made two appearances at the races so far, but Blessed Eagle stamped himself as one to follow by winning on debut here last month before working home well to fill the minors, beaten less than half a length when up in grade for the first time.
He’s got plenty of upside, Timmy Clark keeps the ride and around the $7 mark (at publish), I think he’s a touch of overs.

| Half-brother to Listed winner Royal Tribute. Lining up for just third start. When well in the market at debut, favourite; won by a nose in a 3yo Mdn at this track on August 19 over 1100m on a soft track defeating Saffron Veil carrying 58kg at $3.10. Last start rolled along in front then was edged out late 3rd in a small field in a 3yo Bm64 at this track on September 2 over 1200m, 0.5 len behind Sequinned with 61.5kg at $3.60. GRAFTON STREET (6) is third up and primed to strike this week.
Having won on debut in Ireland last year, Grafton Street has turned in two fine performances to place in a pair of Class 1 races at Hawkesbury since arriving in Australia.
With further improvement this week and getting out to an appropriate trip, Rachel King can find a nice position in the run from a perfect draw before calling on an extra effort from the horse late.

| Third-up today. Resuming 3rd of 7 in a Cl1 at Hawkesbury on August 11 over 1500m, slow going 1.4 len behind Pierro Lad carrying 61kg at $2.60. Second-up 2nd in a small field in a Cl1-Sw at Hawkesbury on September 5 over 1800m, 3.5 len behind Mister Rizz carrying 59kg at $5. Big chance. | |||
SAMARELLE (8) is second up off a pleasing fresh performance this week.
The Savabeel mare doesn’t win in out of turn, but rarely does she turn in a poor effort, and she returned to action to only just miss over 1400m here earlier this month.
She’s yet to miss placing at this point of her preparation, she’s down in the weights and up in trip, and she looks perfectly placed in my opinion.

COBRA CLUB (5) rates as a key winning chance again at Warwick Farm this week.
The Cool Aza Beel gelding was a dominant winner in Class 1 company at Illawarra Grange back in July and while he hasn’t won a race since, he hasn’t been far away.
The mile looks to suit now, he’s drawn to receive the run of the race, and he can continue his journey through the grades.

| At the latest run raced on the speed and boxed on steadily 2nd of 11 in a Bm72 at Canterbury on September 16 over 1550m, nose behind Fierceness with 57.5kg at $2.70. Before that 4th of 9 in a Bm72 at Canterbury on August 26 over 1550m, slow going 2.25 len behind Pierro Lad carrying 58kg at $3.90. Nice effort last time. One of the main contenders. | |||
ALABAMA BOX (2) resumes in a winnable race at Warwick Farm this week.
The Alabama Express mare has been a model of consistency through ten starts since debuting and was last seen hitting the line to record a dominant win in Saturday metro company back in January.
She’s had a couple of trials ahead of this week’s return and can use this race as a stepping-stone into something bigger and better.

ERTIJAAJ (9) is the one for me in the last at Warwick Farm this week.
The Night Of Thunder mare has missed placing once in four trips to the races since debuting, winning twice and finishing form around some quality horses in the process.
She looks to have furnished into a stronger horse ahead of this campaign and with even luck in the run, she can certainly be in the finish of something of this quality.
