VESPASIAN (7) has been knocking on the door and gets a great chance to win today at Tatura.
The Lindsay Park-trained galloper has placed at each of his last three starts, highlighted by second placings at Pakenham and Ladbrokes Geelong most recently.
In peak order today, I don’t think he’ll get a better opportunity.

BAGANOV (5) looks well placed to get up today at Tatura.
The Russian Revolution gelding broke his maiden most notably during a four-start debut preparation, while he returned to action earlier this month to fill the minors in BM62 company at Bendigo, beaten only a length.
With natural improvement today, he can continue his journey through the grades.

Having returned to action with a fine effort to win over 1200m at Ladbrokes Geelong, Pomah was only just denied again when up in grade for the first time here, last time out.
Fitter third-up, something like this looks well within her abilities.

ASMITA (2) strikes a winnable race at Tatura this afternoon.
While yet to strike in two runs back from a break, both performances have been full of merit and saw the horse filling the minors, including a near miss at Sale last time out.
Stepping out today a fit horse and from a low draw, I think this is her chance to get up.
