We have the latest NBL tips this week for all nine games of Round 3, starting with the Breakers vs Taipans on Wednesday.
Punters can get the latest NBL odds at Ladbrokes, which are available for every game of the season.
The -3.5 line is generous, and it’s one of our best NBL tips this week. We have the Breakers being far too good for the Taipans, who didn’t fire a shot in their most recent game against Adelaide.
We have been more impressed by the Breakers, who won their first game at home before losing on the road to the Bullets and Wildcats. They were close games, and being back at Spark Arena is a big help.
We suggest taking the -3.5 line before late money comes for the home team, who should have the edge with Parker Jackson-Cartwright playing at a high level.
Our NBL predictions this week include the Kings to score a convincing win over the Bullets, with both teams looking to conserve their unbeaten records.
The Bullets looked good in their two wins, but playing on the road against the defending champions is a big difference, and with the Kings scoring big totals so far this season, we don’t see their offence slowing down.
It has been an impressive 2-0 start for the Kings, who put 121 points on the Hawks in their most recent game. That is a good form guide for Round 3 action, and we can’t see them slowing down.
Our NBL Round 3 tips include the JackJumpers to make a game of it against a dangerous United outfit.
Both teams have shown good and bad signs to start the season, and although United has a dynamic player like Cole Anthony, we believe the JackJumpers play better as a team, and the NBL is all about team ball.
Getting a +4.5 start on your home floor is generous, and if they can weather the early United storm, they should make another charge in the second half, as they have shown already in the 2026/27 season.
It’s hard to include the Hawks in our NBL predictions this week, so we’re not going to. We have the 36ers making a mess of the home team on Friday night.
The 36ers have made a solid start to their year, and they looked good when beating the Taipans last week. It’s not amazing basketball, but it’s enough to hand the Hawks another loss, and they’re yet to earn a win.
It has been another poor start to the year for the Hawks, and we wouldn’t be surprised if heads rolled at some point this season. Therefore, take the 36ers to cover the -5.5 spread on the road.
Beating the Wildcats in Perth is one of the toughest road trips in the NBL, and we have the Wildcats scoring three consecutive wins at home.
It has been a home-heavy draw for the Wildcats to start the season, which helps them, and even though the Phoenix is a tough team to beat, they’re coming off two disappointing losses.
Based on form, the Wildcats should win, so the $2.10 odds are worth taking.
Our NBL tips this week have the Bullets beating the JackJumpers, and playing at home is a big advantage for the Bullets.
We tipped against them earlier this week, but they have looked good in winning two games, and their additions to the team this year have worked well so far.
We’re not sure what to make of the JackJumpers on the road, so take the Bullets to hold down the fort at home.
It’s tough to go past United when they play against the Taipans. United has a good recent record against the Queensland team, and they should add to it on Saturday.
We’re prepared to back the Taipans a few times this season, but they didn’t look good last week, and they’ll need to focus for the full 40 minutes to have a chance of beating teams like United.
They’ll be favourites, and they should win easily at home.
We’re going to continue the trend of betting against the Hawks until they show us that they can win games in the NBL.
They have looked as close to awful as possible over the first two weeks, and with the Phoenix possessing a high-quality offence, the Hawks could struggle to keep up on that end of the floor.
Our NBL Round 3 tips aren’t expecting big odds for the Phoenix, so include them in multi bets.
Adelaide is a tough team to beat in Adelaide, and although the Breakers have plenty of upside, they should find it too tough on Sunday.
We like what the 36ers are going with their franchise, and they could contend for an NBL Championship if Bryce Cotton plays his best basketball.
The talent is there, and they should win at home to close out Round 3.
