UFC 332: Silva vs Wang Predictions

UFC 332: Silva vs Wang Predictions

It’s not a vintage pay-per-view card by any stretch, but the UFC women’s Flyweight title will be on the line in Salt Lake City this Sunday along with a host of quality fights on the main card and prelims.

We’ve found a few betting plays that are worth a punt and they can be found below.

Natalia Silva vs Wang Cong
1/2 Unit Silva By Submission @ $10.50 + 2 Units Cong by Decision @ $3.70

The UFC flyweight division has been dominated by one woman for many years but with the injury to Valentina Shevchenko, it has opened the door for new contenders.

Natalia Silva will get her chance at UFC gold thanks to an unbeaten winning streak of 14 which includes wins over former champions Jessica Andrade, Rose Namajunas and Alexa Grasso.

Chinese kickboxer Wang Cong has just one loss on her record which spans both professional kickboxing and MMA.

She has won her last four fights in a row leading into the biggest fight of her career.

It’s important to note that she has a professional kickboxing win over Valentina Shevchenko back in 2015 and a gold medal from the Sanda World Championships earlier in her career.

It would be wise of Silva to use her grappling abilities to her advantage but if she can’t get a submission she may be in trouble when it comes to scoring enough points against a very accomplished and experienced striker.

Deiveson Figueiredo vs Payton Talbott
3 Units Payton Talbott by KO/TKO @ $2.20 + ½ Unit Deiveson Figueiredo By Submission @ $15

Deiveson Figueiredo will turn 39 in a couple of months and there is no doubting that his best years are behind him.

He comes into this co-main event fight with just one win from his last five fights but he has been fighting the best of the best in the division during this period including Petr Yan, Umar Nurmagomedov and Song Yadong.

He had a submission grappling match in April against who I believe is possibly the best grappler in the UFC in Raul Rosas junior and the bout ended in a draw.

Payton Talbott is in the prime of his career at 28 years of age and he earns this big fight thanks to 11 wins from 12 professional MMA fights.

He has won his last two by decision against Felipe Lima and former double champion Henry Cejudo but hasn’t fought in almost a year.

Figgy is up against it at this stage of his career and he faces a dangerous opponent who can end the fight with one punch but I don’t want to lose on the fight should he get the opportunity to find a submission.

Bobby Green vs Esteban Ribovics
4 Units Esteban Ribovics By KO/TKO @ $2.20

What a resurgence it has been for King Green and it really is a reminder why we love this sport and its redemption arcs.

At 40 years of age, Bobby Green is having possibly the most success of his illustrious career, riding a four fight win streak in the main card on Sunday.

After he was choked unconscious (and his arm broke I think) by Paddy Pimblett and then knocked out cold in the first round by a Mauricio Ruffy spinning wheel kick we were all thinking his career was all but over.

But three finished and a split decision victory later and he is back!

He faces another test this weekend though in the form of Esteban Ribovics who is not only 10 years his junior but a very accomplished mixed martial artist himself.

Only three losses in a 19 pro MMA career is evidence that he accomplished in his own right and Ribovics has won five of his last seven in the UFC octagon.

It’s been a great run for Green but the fact that Ribobics has finished 13 of his 16 career wins has me concerned.

Khaos Williams vs Roberto Soldic
4 Units Roberto Soldic To Win in Rounds 1 or 2 @ $1.88

Khaos Williams has had a very up and down career in the UFC, with a record of 7:4 since debuting in 2020.

He has victories over Alex Morono, Abdul Razak Alhassan and Miguel Baeza by knockout but has lost two of his last three heading into Sunday.

Roberto Soldic is a 31 year old Croatian fighter who was a double champion in KSW which is a Polish MMA organisation.

He fought in One Championship in his last three MMA fights including a first round knockout win in February 2025.

18 KO/TKO victories from 21 pro MMA career wins is evidence of his power and he can cement himself a challenger in the division on debut in the UFC on Sunday.

Roman Kopylov vs Ateba Gautier
2 Units Fight To End In KO/TKO @ $1.55

I know this card looks ordinary on paper but the feature fight to kick start the main card is a beauty.

Roman Kopylov has had plenty of highlights since making his debut in the octagon back in 2019.

Five of his seven wins have been finishes in the UFC and 12 of his 15 overall.

Ateba Gautier is a Cameroonian brute of a man who has just one loss during his 12 pro MMA career.

Nine of his 11 wins have been via knockout including four of five in the UFC.

Expect fireworks!
