Rosehill: Race 2
No. 14 Snitzel’s Girl

SNITZEL’S GIRL (3) has shown ability in three appearances since debuting; finishing on the placegetters’ heels in races at Canterbury and here at Rosehill since resuming.

Fitter third-up this afternoon, down in the weights under Zac Lloyd, she looks to get plenty of ticks.

Rosehill: Race 4
No. 12 Moscatel

We haven’t seen MOSCATEL (8) at the races since May, but after winning in dominant fashion on debut at Randwick-Kensington, she subsequently finished midfield in the Listed Woodlands Stakes at Scone.

With the benefit of a couple of trials under her belt, Rachel King picks up the ride and any improvement in strength and condition from her last prep would see her well placed in something like this.

Rosehill: Race 7
No. 6 Metallic Cat

METALLIC CAT (4) has hardly put a hoof wrong since debuting, and she returned to action with a nice performance to only just miss behind West Of Dalby here a couple of weeks ago.

With natural improvement, she’s unbeaten at this point of her preparation and looks very difficult to beat once more.

Caulfield: Race 7
No. 2 Air Assault
Each Way

AIR ASSAULT (2) is yet to strike in four runs back from a break but has been typically competitive, finishing the runner up in both the Leon Macdonald Stakes and the Balaklava Cup most notably.

Getting out to the 2000m at this point of his preparation looks to suit and with an economical run in behind the leaders from the low draw, he can certainly make his presence felt in the Coongy Cup.
