Daily Greyhound Tips – Saturday 24th October

Metropolitan chasing makes its historic debut at Gosford this Saturday, October 24th, with our best bets locked in.

Gosford City Race 3 – Central Coast Locksmiths 1-4 Win 5th Grade Final 515m
No. 8 Wired To Win

WIRED TO WIN (5) stormed home from box 8 to win narrowly over 450m at Maitland last start, and faces the same draw again here.

The Jason Mackay-trained dog won over 450m two starts ago in 25.09, clocking the best time of the night, with a 7.79 first split.

Three starts back, he won over 400m by 7.75 lengths and registered the best time of the night in 22.23.

The rise in distance for the first time shouldn’t pose a problem given how strongly he finishes.

Gosford City Race 6 – Ontrack Insider 5th Grade 603m
No. 2 Zipping Mooney

ZIPPING MOONEY (5) found the line strongly over 622m at Richmond last start, just failing to run down the leader and finishing second by half a length.

The Courtney Barnes-trained bitch has a class edge over these rivals and should appreciate the drop in grade.

She won over 520m at Richmond in a similar grade last month, scoring by three lengths.

From the good draw in box 2, she should settle among the first few and get her chance to win.
