The heavily backed Saxon Warrior filly Sheza Alibi ($1.50F) proved far too strong for her rivals first-up saluting in the 2026 Angus Armanasco Stakes results with a commanding 2.25 length romp home up the inside rail off a patient ride by Zac Spain. The resuming Sandown Guineas champ from the Moody/Coleman stable was enormous in her campaign kick-off and has now firmed in from $5 to $3.60 second favouritism in all-in Randwick Guineas betting for the million-dollar mile event on March 7.

The Angus Armanasco Stakes is a race for three-year-old fillies contested at Caulfield Racecourse on Blue Diamond Stakes Day, traditionally run on a Saturday in late February during the Melbourne Autumn Racing Carnival.

The meeting features three top level races headlined by the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m), while the Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes is a key support race on the program that also features the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) for short-distance specialists and the weight-for-age Group 1 Futurity Stakes (1400m).
