Brisbane Broncos host Gold Coast Titans in Round 14 of the 2026 NRL season at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday. Read on for our full match preview, betting tips, and best odds.

A vital Queensland derby awaits with the defending premiers desperate for a form turnaround.

FORM: The Broncos are in all sorts, losing four in a row. After heavy defeats to the Sea Eagles and Warriors, they became the first team in 2026 to lose to the Dragons – a humiliating 30-26 result at home.

The 2-9 Titans have lost five straight and have not scored more than 12 points in their last four games. They at least showed some elusive resolve in defence in a 12-10 away loss to Manly in an Origin-affected Round 12 clash.

INS AND OUTS: Michael Maguire has demoted Ezra Mam to 18th man, bringing Tom Duffy in at five-eighth. Grant Anderson comes in for injured centre Gehamat Shibasaki, while Xavier Willison moves to lock and Jack Gosieswki lines up in the second-row with Pat Carrigan sidelined.

Gold Coast duo Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and Jojo Fifita return from Origin duty, pushing Klese Haas and Jaylan De Groot to the interchange.

KEY MATCH-UP: Reece Walsh finds himself under the pump after some indifferent form during the Broncos’ losing streak. Keano Kini has been a silver lining in tough season so far for the Titans.

HISTORY: The Broncos have won their last three against the Titans, after losing the previous three derbies. They won 44-14 at home and 26-14 away in 2025, while they grafted out a 26-12 victory on the Gold Coast in Round 5 this season – with Carrigan and Mam the stars.

KEY STAT: Four of the past five Broncos-Titans derbies at Suncorp Stadium have produced 58-plus points.

VERDICT: The Broncos have been horrific and ‘Madge’ has reacting accordingly by dropping Mam, but it’s their pack – now without Carrigan – and the erratic Walsh that need to rediscover their championship-level form.

The Titans try hard but have largely struggled this year under rookie mentor Josh Hannay, with their inability to score points – usually not a problem – the most striking factor. The Broncos are destined to bounce back sooner or later, and a rock-bottom showing last week should spark a turnaround.

Tip: Back the Broncos to Cover the Line (+7.5) @ $1.83

SGM: BRONCOS BY 11-20 / UNDER 51.5 TOTAL POINTS / KOTONI STAGGS ANYTIME TRYSCORER / GRANT ANDERSON ANYTIME TRYSCORER @ $38.40
