A proven winner over extended distances—up to 3319m overseas—this import looks perfectly suited to the 2300m trip after dominating a 2020m Doomben handicap on September 6, putting more than three lengths on his nearest rival.
Prior to that, he carried 59kg to victory over the mile at Ipswich, so the drop to 54kg this Friday is a big plus. He’s stepping up in grade, but rightly so, and based on what he’s shown so far, he’s more than capable of living up to the market expectation.
