Per Incanto five-year-old Oak Hill ($4.60) improved off a lead-up W.J. Adams second at the Caulfield track to go one better in a stylish quarter-length victory in the 2026 Rubiton Stakes results. Oak Hill travelled sweetly behind a genuine tempo before peeling out at the top of the straight and putting the race to bed inside the final 150 metres in a gun ride by Damian Lane. The gelding has subsequently firmed from $21 to $9 to take out the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate on Feb 21 and do the double for the first time since Lankan Rupee (2014).

The Rubiton Stakes is a key Group 2 event held at Caulfield Racecourse in mid-February, which kicks off the top racing action of the annual Melbourne Autumn Racing Carnival.
