Kept fresh since, this is a far easier assignment and he’s a definite short-distance specialist boasting a great record over the 1000m (6:3-1-2). Only goes up a kilo, there is a jockey switch but in a small field this is a very winnable assignment for a class sprinter on the rise back home in Sydney. After producing a brave on-pace effort last time out in tougher grade, he’ll only improve and the good gate has him rolling forward.
