Classy three-year-old Lumosty has been set on a path towards Group 1 feature races in Brisbane this time in and undoubtedly figures as our absolute best bet at Flemington on Saturday to win the Listed Straight Six (1200m). Stamping her claims as a serious racehorse over the Spring Carnival, the daughter of Fastnet Rock finished second in the Listed Cap D’Antibes Stakes (1100m) first-up; progressing to success in each of the Oxford Landing Estates Maiden (1423m) and Group 2 Moonee Valley Fillies Classic (1600m) and ending her campaign sixth in the Group 1 Crown Oaks (2500m). Having comfortably seen off many of her Straight Six opponents by more than three lengths in the All Victorian Sprint Series Heat (1100m) on May 9th, Lumosty will be partnered by Dwayne Dunn and should have no issue repeating the dose on Saturday.
