2015 NBA Finals Update – Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers

Following five games in the 2015 NBA Finals Series, the Golden State Warriors hold a crucial 3-2 lead and will look to seal the Larry O’Brien Trophy once at for all at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena at 11AM AEST this morning.

It was widely expected the Warriors would dominate the 2015 NBA Finals but that has certainly not been the case, as LeBron James and Australia’s own Matthew Dellavedova have led the way for the Cavs, who led the series 2-1 following Game 3.

While playing at home this time, the Cavs suffered two comfortable defeats in Games 4 and 5 of the 2015 NBA Finals and as a result, we’ve installed the Warriors as clear $1.59 favourites to win Game 6 and claim their first title since 1975.

Golden State Warriors

Having started favourite in all five games through the 2015 NBA Finals so far, the Warriors definitely took a few games to settle their nerves but have been nothing short of brilliant in their two most recent performances.

Dellavedova did a great job of silencing Steph Curry in Games 2 and 3 but the league MVP has shown why he was considered this season’s best player in his two most recent starts, leading the way towards two impressive successes.

The Warriors boast a multi-dimension attack and rock solid defence and have done a great job of muting the likes of LeBron in pivotal moments in their two most recent fixtures.

Finals Freaks
Steph Curry scores 30 points or more and the Warriors win: $2.75
Klay Thompson scores 19 points or more and the Warriors win: $3

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavs weren’t expected to pose much of a fight in the 2015 NBA Finals but impressed in winning two games; particularly Game 2 in what was a nail-biting affair away from home.

LeBron James has undoubtedly led the way for the Cavs and has been ably supported by the likes of Dellavedova but realistically, the team seems to lack the spark that will probably see the Warriors win Game 6 and the series.

Even at home, the Cavs will undoubtedly need to produce a season best effort to square the ledger this morning and send the series to a decider.

Finals Freaks
LeBron James scores 36 points or more and Cleveland wins: $3
Matthew Dellavedova scores 11 points or more and Cleveland wins: $5

2015 NBA Finals Betting Update

Points scoring markets have figured as a lucrative betting option through all five games of the 2015 NBA Finals series so far, and Game 6 will likely be no exception. The Warriors have finished on the north side of 100 points in their two most recent starts and are well and truly worth consideration at $1.82 to score more than 98.5 in Game 6.

The sum of all points scored by both teams in the last three 2015 NBA Finals matches has equated to an odd number, and we’re offering $1.91 for that trend to continue in Game 6.

Matthew Dellavedova has been instrumental in the lead-up to Cleveland’s point scoring opportunities more often than not, and the Maryborough native offers exceptional value for money to produce more than 3.5 assists at $1.83.
