The English Premier League ladder is already taking shape after only two weeks of fixtures and Week 3 of competition will see several fixtures contested between fierce rivals of similar form.
Chelsea are amidst the worst campaign start of a champion side in Premier League history but will be confident of reversing their poor form against West Brom, while Manchester City look to continue their dominant run away to Everton.

Manchester United vs Newcastle United
United return to Old Trafford atop the table having secured two wins from as many starts, including last weekend’s 1-0 triumph over Aston Villa. In a further boost to the Red Devils’ confidence, a Memphis Depay double saw the popular club secure a 3-1 win over Belgium’s Club Brugge mid-week to seal a place in the Champions League. Newcastle are yet to post a win this season and enter this match off the back of a disappointing 2-0 loss to Swansea last Sunday. Realistically, this match shouldn’t be much of a contest and backing a result like Manchester United to win 3-0 at a current $9 is worth consideration.

West Ham United vs Bournemouth
West Ham stunned ‘Big 4’ club Arsenal with a 2-0 defeat at the Emirates in the first week of the Premier League season, but were unable to frank the result last weekend when falling to a 2-1 loss at home to Leicester City. Bournemouth are yet to secure their first ever Premier League points but have been far from disgraced in losing 1-0 to Villa in Week 1 and 1-0 to Liverpool last weekend. On their day, West Ham at home is a tough task for any travelling team however we’re confident the Cherries are not far away from a maiden win and believe they offer great value for money at current $3 odds in head-to-head markets.

Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa
Crystal Palace were unlucky not to take anything from their game with Arsenal last week, but have already found winning form this campaign via an impressive 3-1 over Norwich in Week 1. Yohan Cabaye has made an immediate impact for his new club and will look to extend his great run of form through Sunday morning’s match with Aston Villa. The Villans were given the ‘easy’ option of newly-promoted side Bournemouth in Week 1, and were far from disgraced in a tight 1-0 loss to Manchester United last week. Palace are clear favourites in this tie, however we believe the draw at current $3.40 odds offers the best value for money.

Norwich City vs Stoke City
Norwich were given a reality check by Crystal Palace in week 1 of the Premier League but have seemingly responded in the best way possible a delivering Sunderland a 3-1 defeat at the Stadium of Light last weekend. Stoke City appeared all but out of the contest when 2-0 down to Tottenham with less than 20 minutes to play, but rallied to take a valuable point from the fixture thanks to two late goals. Xherdan Shaqiri is sure to start having a positive impact for the Potters over coming weeks and is a great chance for a big game against Norwich. Stoke incredibly are outsiders to win this match in head-to-head markets and are more than worth consideration at a quote of $2.90.

Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur
In what has every chance of figuring as the most well-contested match in Week 3 of the English Premier League, the in-form Leicester City play host to the always-dangerous Tottenham Hotspur early Sunday morning Australian time. The Foxes have wasted no time stamping their intentions for another season of survival; posting exciting wins over both Sunderland and West Ham. Tottenham were beaten 1-0 by Manchester United in Week 1 and should have taken all the points from their match with Stoke last weekend. Spurs will have to find winning form soon if they are any hope of figuring at the top of the table this season and offer great value at $2.65 odds to win this weekend.

Sunderland vs Swansea City
Sunderland are yet to make anything of their 2015/16 campaign, having leaked six goals for zero points and are firmly anchored to the bottom of the table. Swansea City on the other hand appear to have returned in typically competitive form this season; shocking champions Chelsea with a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge in week 1 before comfortably seeing-off Newcastle 2-0 last weekend. Even at home the Black Cats are yet to look like a competitive force and Swansea City will probably just win.

West Bromwich Albion vs Chelsea
West Brom became a rampant Manchester City’s first victim at the Eithad in week 1, but were far-more convincing against a positive Watford side in week 2, coming away with a point. Chelsea have already experienced the worst start to a season for a defending champion team in Premier League history; held to a draw by Swansea at home before being thoroughly outplayed by Manchester City for a 3-0 loss. West Brom at the Hawthorns are a different team to West Brom on the road, but Chelsea will surely find winning form this week and at good odds.

Watford vs Southampton
Watford were not expected to make such a positive start so early in their return to the Premier League, but have managed two convincing draws against well-established opponents including Everton. Southampton are yet to find the form which led them to a Europa League berth in 2014/15 but will relish playing a side like Watford; albeit away from home. This seems to have draw written all over it, but Southampton are also more than capable of a win on their day.

Everton vs Manchester City
Everton responded to their slow campaign start against Watford with a 3-0 thrashing of Southampton last weekend, but face a monumental task in producing a similar results against an utterly destructive Manchester City this weekend. City have never appeared in doubt this campaign; netting six goals from all over the park in dominant fashion, which included a 3-0 hiding of Chelsea last weekend. Everton at Goodison Park is probably their toughest task yet, but probably won’t be enough to end City’s exceptional run of form.

Arsenal vs Liverpool
Tuesday morning’s match between Arsenal and Liverpool is sure to be a great contest, particularly after both teams registered gritty wins in Week 2 of the Premier League. Arsenal won the Charity Shield a week prior to their first league match but were surprisingly unable to account for West Ham at home; losing 2-0. Having delivered cross-town rivals Crystal Palace a 2-1 defeat last weekend, Arsenal will be confident their multi-dimensional goal scoring capabilities will count for a lot against a Liverpool side who have only managed one in each of their two games so far. We’re backing Arsenal, but there are worse bets than Liverpool at current odds this week.
