Legendary Lands – $100 into $26,622

Our legendary punter of the week took advantage of a selection of favourites across both sport and racing last weekend, but this week we have had a punter who is clearly a greyhound racing expert absolutely clean up following Sunday night’s meets at Albion Park and Canberra!

Our punter was clearly confident his selections would get the job the job done; backing each to win their respective races, rather than taking the safer option of a first three finish!

Offered a quote of $266.22 for only five legs, our punter capped an impressive Sunday by turning $100 into an incredible $26,622!

Our punter began his lucrative Sunday night with a solitary leg at Canberra, and was rewarded for his selection when clear race favourite Brilliant Shot saluted in the Petpanels.com.au Grade 5 Maiden (310m).

Leg 1: Brilliant Shot wins Canberra Race 5 at $1.45

He then added a solitary horse racing fold to his five leg multi; selecting the Merv Dellar-trained Kronfeld to win the Palace Hotel Goldrush Handicap (1600m) at Kalgoorlie.

Kronfeld finished fourth over 1400m at Kalgoorlie a fortnight prior to the Goldrush Handicap, but jumped as sole occupant of the third line of betting after being charged with overcoming a race-high 58kgs.

Leg 2: Kronfeld wins Kalgoorlie Race 5 at $6

Albion Park played host to a talent-rich ten race card on Sunday evening, and our punter began his three selections at the course in the best way possible when $6 chance Vee Rocket made the most of a good draw to take out the Queensland Greyhound Adoption Program Maiden (311m).

Leg 3: Vee Rocket wins Albion Park Race 1 at $6

Electing to bypass races two and three, our punter identified that race four favourite Time For Abby had posted the fastest time over 331m of all eight runners confirmed in the Glen Gallon @ Stud Novice over the distance.

While drifting in markets in the lead-up to the race, Time For Abby mustered an impressive performance to deliver at $1.70 odds for success.

Leg 4: Time For Abby wins Albion Park Race 4 at $1.70

There was plenty of value on offer in Race 5 at Albion Park after only seven dogs were confirmed to take to the boxes following three key scratchings.

#6 Caramel Delight experienced huge attention in the lead-up to jump; cutting in from opening odds of $4.60 to jump at a still-generous $3; figuring as a key selection in our punter’s legendary five-leg land and rounding out an incredible lucrative evening

Leg 5: Caramel Delight wins Albion Park Race 5 at $3

Having placed $100 on his five-leg multi prior to jump of Race 5 at Canberra at 5:40pm on Sunday evening, our punter walked away with an incredible $26,622 less than two hours later!
