A big Metro Division matchup on the first day back after the Christmas break. Washington are on a great run winning seven of their last ten and will want to bounce back after losing their last game 3-0 to Las Vegas. New York also lost their last game to Toronto and bring an excellent home record to this game winning 14 of 23 so far this year. Even so look for the quality of Washington’s forward line to get them home here.
Big Bash 07 has not been kind to the Sixers so far losing both their matches this season. Having gone down to the Thunder by five wickets and the Scorchers by 6 wickets, getting that first win as soon as possible is critical. It will not be an easy task however with the Strikers making their second appearance this tournament. In their opener the star of the show was Rashid Khan and he should be in for another big night against a Sixers batting lineup that has not quite clicked yet.
Arsenal will be very eager to see the end of December and they face Palace in their final match of the month. Their league form this month has been poor at best recording just one win to go with three draws and a loss. Palace on the other hand have not lost since the start of November and are showing signs of improvement under Roy Hodgson. Playing at Selhurst Park is another thing working in their favour
