Philadelphia got a much needed win on Christmas Day to end a five game winning streak. One of their big issues as of late has been backing up after victories with a poor record after win. Coming off a loss since November 25 they have been beaten by an average of nine points so back that trend to continue here and take the Trail Blazers at home
Two for two so far for the Renegades notching up seven wicket wins against the Hurricanes and Heat. With Cameron White controlling the game with his bat and a bowling attack that is capable of skittling opponents in quick order they are a force to be reckoned with. It is not great value as solid favourites but a good option to play if you are looking for a top up.
When these sides met five weeks ago, the Jets ran riot after Mark Milligan was sent off finishing 4-1 winners at home. Fast forward to now and both sides are in great form to kick off Round 13 of the A-League. Melbourne have won their last two and will be buzzing after a last minute derby win. Newcastle on the other hand absolutely destroyed the Wanderers and are scoring for fun despite an injury depleted attack. The Jets are a great team to watch from an entertainment perspective and I like them to spring an upset here and further cement their legitimacy as contenders.
