What better way to spend a weekend during the business end of footy season than glued to the TV and doing frantic maths trying to work out finals permutations.
After 22 rounds, it all comes down to this weekend for several AFL sides with jockeying for finals positions expected to continue through to Sunday evening.
Meanwhile in the NRL there are two rounds left but Townsville is preparing to send off Johnathan Thurston with the Cowboys legend making his final appearance at home this weekend.
In New Zealand the All Blacks are all but assured of lifting the Bledisloe Cup (again) Saturday evening, surely they’re getting sick of it by now… right?
There’s plenty of other action as well, almost too much to fit into one post.
