Mirimar has been knocking on the door of a win in all three of his races this prep. He has been runner up three races in a row however I think the 2200m is his go. Should be tough to beat.
Harbour Views couldn’t have been much more impressive on debut when scored by just under a length at the Bool. He steps up to the mile which shouldn’t be a problem and John Allen will steer again which is a bonus. Can make it two from two here.
The Commoner is another that is having just their second start and is shooting for two from two. The three year old filly won her debut at Cranbourne by almost four lengths and she looks to have a class edge on most of this field.
An ex Australian Bloodstock horse with Kris Lees, he is now with Stuart Kendrick on the Sunshine Coast. He is a horse that does a lot wrong including being slow away at the gates however he does produce a good sprint at the end of these short races. His last two runs for the new stable have been better than they look on paper and if he turns up and shows his best, he should prove too good for this field.
