Statuesquely was simply dominant when she broke through for her maiden win at Kembla Grange last start and the front running filly will prove difficult to beat again. She makes her own luck on the speed and the step up in distance should suit.
Frascati Miss was a nittle bit dour and one paced first up over the mile however she was doing her best work late in the race. She gets out to a more suitable distance in this race and she should strip fitter for her first up run.
Enforcement has had the two starts in his racing career to date. He was beaten first by Accession and then by Cardiff. Two pretty handy horses. In both those races he was found wanting in the final 100 or so meters so he seems well suited by the 900m around Newcastle. He will also appreciate the big step down in class.
This lightly raced four year old gelding is a very interesting runner. He has had the two starts way back in early 2016 and has not been seen on the race track since. He has had three trials leading into this assignment and has not been asked to do much at all. If he is ridden on the speed like he was when he won his maiden at Scone in open class as a two year old, he may be difficult to get passed over the short course 900m. Worth an each way play at the double figure odds.
