Bedouin King has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win. He will take good benefit from what was a tough run over 1600 metres and he should now be at peak fitness. He will need a touch of luck in running, but he does have upside and he is the horse to beat in what is an open race.
Spartan Flame finished second behind Fight at Ladbrokes Park last start and he ran well against much tougher company than this at Caulfield yesterday. The Fighting Sun gelding still has the scope to improve on his first-up effort and I am surprised that he is not shorter for this race at Bendigo this afternoon.
Blonde Disposition is well-placed to make a winning return to the races at Bendigo this afternoon. On exposed form she does have a clear class edge over the rest of this field and her barrier trial at Cranbourne ahead of her return to the races was excellent. She is clearly the horse to beat in this contest.
This looks like the ideal race for Write Your Name. He finished second at Bendigo first-up and he should take good benefit from that performance. He has form around the likes of Queensland Derby winner Mr Quickie and Outrageous and on his best form he does have a genuine edge over the rest of this field.
