Je Suis Tycoon was competitive when she went into town recently and that form puts her right in a race of this quality in my opinion. She is a consistent mare that will have to carry a big weight however she looks to have a class advantage on the rest of the field.
Royal Patriot didn’t have a great deal of luck when he returned to the races at Wyong last start, but he was still able to find the line nicely to narrowly miss out on a win. He should take good benefit from that run and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Adam Hyeronimus.
San Marco is coming off a very impressive last start win at San Marco and a repeat of that effort would make him very tough to beat in this contest. He has recorded three wins from his six race starts over 1000 metres and there is no doubt that he is racing in career best form.
Dunbrody Power returned to the races with an excellent win at Kembla Grange first-up and she is a filly with a huge amount of upside. She had form around some classy galloper as a younger horse and I think that she will end up in better company than this.
