It has been a long time between race wins for Disenchanted, but this does look like an ideal target for her. She has finished in her past three race starts and all of these defeats have been by narrow margins. This really isn’t the strongest field and she may never have a better chance to record a second race win.
Zoology was finally able to breakthrough for a maiden race win at Echuca last start and it now wouldn’t surprise to see him go on with the job. I’m not sure that this field is much stronger and I am confident that he has more upside than the majority of his rivals. He is well-placed to make it two wins on the trot.
Speed Camera has only recorded the one win from her 15 race starts, but she is generally thereabouts and the $8 currently available is over the odds. She has finished in the placings in her past two race starts at Newcastle and Gosford and this is a genuine drop in quality.
Golden Avenger is unlucky not to have two wins from as many race starts and he has plenty of upside. He was only narrowly denied on debut at Wellington before he got himself out of trouble to win last start. His racing manners need improving, but if he can do that he will develop into a serious horse.
