Maiden Plate (1300m)

Phat Beats ran a handy second on debut in a 1000m Sunshine Coast Maiden and will take plenty of improvement from that outing and has a great chance to go one better.

Rozeira has been placed twice from her last three starts in Maiden class and the betting will be the best guide for first starter Genuine Al.

Open Handicap (1400m)

Fabulonh has finished fourth and third at his last two starts over this course and distance and gets his chance to find the winner’s stall.

Lucky Jackson has had a freshen up since his last start third over 2200m at Doomben on April 4 and is a winner over this course and distance.

Look for improvement from Pressway heading back to the Sunshine Coast and Drumbeats Choice can be thereabouts.

QTIS 2yo Maiden Handicap (1000m)

First starter Our Calantha is the winner of a recent 1000m Gold Coast barrier trial and the betting will be the best guide to her performance.

Queen Sweeper was placed twice from three starts last preparation and has drawn in close for her return to the race track.

Patty’s Fortune is fitter for one run back from a spell for a third in a 870m Toowoomba 2yo Class 1.

QTIS 2yo Maiden  Handicap (1000m)

Le Heros was runner up on debut in a 1200m Sunshine Coast 2yo Class 2 on February 16 and will wear the winkers when he resumes.

Disco Lights has been placed in two recent barrier trials at Beaudesert and the Gold Coast in preparation for his return to the race track and the betting will be the best guide.

Better Rush is also resuming following a recent second in a Doomben barrier trial and the betting will be the best guide for the Tony Gollan trained first starter Chattanooga Lucy.

QTIS 3yo Maiden Handicap (1000m)

More Than Likely was a beaten favourite last start when second in a 1200m Maiden at the Sunshine Coast and gets her chance to make amends from the inside gate.

Booming Town is on the improve and heads to the Sunshine Coast following a second in a 1050m Doomben Maiden and has claims.

Nikohli Beagle showed plenty of pace on debut when third in an 1100m Gold Coast Maiden and Queen Lagertha will wear the blinkers when she makes her debut.

Race 6 - 4:38pm

Maiden Handicap (1600m)

Bellicose was narrowly beaten over this course and distance two starts back when second and drops back to the 1600m following his latest second over 1800m at the Sunshine Coast.

Jerry Zanda hasn’t been far off the mark of late with a third over 2240m in a Doomben Maiden followed by a fourth in a Sunshine Coast 1800m Maiden and is not the worst dropping back to 1600m.

Fi Fi No Fuss is stepping up to 1600m following her fourth in an Ipswich 1350m Maiden and Why Wouldn’t You is fitter for one run back from a long spell.

Race 7 - 5:15pm

QTIS 3YO Handicap (2200m)

Neptunes’s Choice has been racing fairly over a similar journey recently and fought on okay last start when second in a 2200m BenchMark 68 Handicap at the Sunshine Coast and is one of the main chances over the same distance.

Navy Cross heads North following his win in a 1900m BenchMark 70 Handicap at Canterbury and will have no trouble racing on pace from the inside gate.

Zamzara is a last start winner in a 2240m Doomben Class 1 and Steel Pier broke through for his Maiden win two starts back over 2240m at Doomben and is not the worst.

Race 8 - 5:50pm

Class 1 Handicap (1800m)

Tavisfaction has fair form at the Sunshine Coast with four placings from eight appearances and will be wearing the blinkers again following his last start seventh in an 1800m Sunshine Coast BenchMark 55 Handicap.

Brando will strip fitter for one run back from a spell when third in a 1400m Sunshine Coast Class 1 and will appreciate the step up in distance.

Likeabeel is stepping up in class following his Maiden win over this course and distance.

Race 9 - 6:30pm

BenchMark 72 Handicap (1600m)

Bering Sea is a winner over this track and distance and is ready to produce his best at his third run back following a fourth at Doomben and a last start seventh in a 1400m Sunshine Coast BenchMark 80 Handicap.

Enterprise Jack hasn’t missed a place from his last six starts and is well overdue for a win and heads back to the Sunshine Coast following a last start third there in a 1600m Class 3.

Stardome ran an improved race second up when third in a 1400m Gold Coast BenchMark 72 Handicap and Mymming finished third two starts back over this course and distance.
