The four year old is having his first start since finishing fifth in a 1400m Gold Coast Class 3 Plate and the betting will be the best guide and King Klaus gets his chance in town following a win in an 1100m Rockhampton 0 – 58 Rating Handicap on August 11.

Rockhampton visitor Barachiel ran a nice race at big odds when third in a 1400m Eagle Farm Handicap and has a good chance to break through for a city win dropping back in grade.
Flying Machine produced her best recent run at massive odds when second in a 1350m Doomben 0 – 75 Rating Handicap last Saturday and a repeat effort will see be a part of the money again.
Steelz Time is a last start Townsville Handicap winner and One For Betty is chasing a hat trick after wins at Eagle Farm and the Sunshine Coast.
2 Units Barachiel
Kisukano hit the ground running last start and was never headed to record a three and a quarter lengths win in a 1200m Eagle Farm 3yo Fillies Handicap. Facing similar opposition here over the same course and distance and is very well in at the set weights plus penalties and is the one to beat again.
Acrobatic scored an upset win at double figure odds in a 1200m Eagle Farm 3yo C&G Handicap and is sure to race well again.
Safework and Super Effort finished second and third behind Acrobatic last start.

Smooth Move was a winner and a fifth over 1400m at Eagle Farm at his last two starts and with a drop in the weights, helped by apprentice Justin Huxtable’s 2kg claim, and the inside barrier, will strip as one of the main chances.
All Important is fitter for one run back for a fourth in a 1200m Doomben BenchMark 80 Handicap and has a good second up record but has been lumbered with plenty of weight.
No Doubt Acracker has earned a trip to town following his win in a 1200m Gold Coast Class 5 and Woman Of Gold has been racing consistently with a win and two placings from her last three starts, her latest a second in a 1400m Eagle Farm NMW Handicap.

Snitch is fitter for one run back from a spell for a fifth in a 1200m Eagle Farm Handicap a fortnight ago. He is a winner over this course and distance and has won second up in the past.
Skate To Paris is chasing a hat trick after wins at Eagle Farm over 1400m and 1600m and is one of the main chances again.
Smartedge has won a Deagon barrier trial since finishing fifth in a 1400m Eagle Farm Handicap and look for a better showing and The Candy Man is resuming and is capable of putting in a nice run over the sprint distances while fresh.

He Runs Away has been placed at his last two starts at Doomben over 2000m and 2200m and gets his chance to do better from a more favourable barrier draw.
Joymaker was back in the winner’s stall last start in a 2112m Eagle Farm BenchMark 72 Handicap. Is up in class and has to overcome a wide gate.
Spirit is on the improve with a last start third behind Joymaker and Momentum To Win scored a narrow win in an 1800m Eagle Farm Class 6 but is up sharply in the weights.

Victorian visitor Persuader is up slightly in the weights but is dropping in class following her latest second in a 1400m Eagle Farm Handicap and is one of the main chances here.
Love Struck is going for back to back wins over the Eagle Farm 1400m after a win in a NMW Handicap a fortnight ago and has to be considered as one of the main chances again.
High Degree has been placed at his last two starts at the Sunshine Coast and at Doomben but has had five weeks in between runs and Ginger Rock is chasing a hat trick but is stepping up sharply in grade following her latest win in a 1200m mid-week Doomben Class 3.
2 Units Persuader
Tonsor is the winner of five of his fourteen starts and was well beaten first up on a heavy track in an 1100m Randwick BenchMark 88 Handicap on August 1. Look for a better showing back on top of the ground.
Desert Lord is resuming and barrier trialled twice recently for a win in an 850m Sunshine Coast trial followed by a second in a 1200m Deagon trial and expect a forward showing first up.
Guntantes has won a recent 840m Doomben trial in preparation for his return and Catesby hasn’t been far off the mark with two seconds from his last two starts over 1000m and 1200m at Eagle Farm.
2 Units Tonsor
The Kingdom has an excellent record over this course and distance with a three from three winning record and will have to go back from a wide gate but can’t be underestimated.
Alward has been out of the winner’s stall for a very long time but gets his chance here after drawing the inside gate.
Fighting Teo is a last start winner in a 2150m Handicap at Ipswich on Eye Liner Stakes Day and is a winner over this course and distance and Aliferous is fitter for one run back for a third in a 1400m Randwick Handicap a fortnight ago.
