Race 1 - 2:20pm AEDT

Find Your Next G1w @ The Chase Plate (1100m)

This is a drop in class for Burma Star and he’s only to plenty of improvement.

Having only just missed behind Icarian Dream on debut here in October, the Exceed And Excel colt was sent off a popular favourite in the Canonbury Stakes when resuming but finished fourth.

With natural improvement, he’s clearly the one to beat on exposed form.

Race 2 - 2:55pm AEDT

Hyland Race Colours Handicap (2140m)

Seven’s is another second-up galloper that rates as a key winning chance at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

Having recorded two wins from as many starts over in France last August, the Bated Breath gelding worked home well to fill the minors behind Puntin here late last month.

With natural improvement and getting further out in trip, he can continue his rise through the grades.

Race 3 - 3:30pm AEDT

Captivant @ Kia Ora Handicap (1400m)

Majorca Sunset is fit and ready to win.

The Bjorn Baker-trained gelding has improved noticeably with each of three runs back this time, culminating in a near miss over 1200m last time out.

The small rise in trip this week looks suitable, and the Baker stable is absolutely airborne.

Race 4 - 4:05pm AEDT

Proven Thoroughbreds Handicap (1000m)

Silencio Porfavor puts an unbeaten record on the line when he resumes in Race 4 at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

The Matt Smith-trained colt stamped himself as one to watch by breaking his maiden at Kembla Grange in August and he went to the paddock after a dominant three-length victory in BM66 company.

He’s had the benefit of a few trials ahead of his return and this looks a suitable campaign launchpad.

Race 5 - 4:40pm AEDT

Victor Ludorum First Yearlings Handicap (1400m)

Climb The Ladder looks to have a bright future and can continue his rise through the grades this week as well.

The Chris Waller-trained gelding showed promise at the trials prior to debuting and worked home well behind Summer Flame down at Mornington last month.

Having broke his maiden to the tune of four and three-quarter lengths at Sandown last time out, something like this looks the next logical step for him.

Race 6 - 5:15pm AEDT

Asahi Super Dry Handicap (1400m)

Good Sort looks well placed fresh from a break at Warwick Farm.

The Tassort filly turned in some nice performances without recording an elusive victory last time in, finishing third in the Group 3 Reginald Allen Quality most notably.

She’s had a couple of trials ahead of her return this week and is drawn ideally under the in-form Zac Lloyd.

Benchmark 71 Handicap (1600m)

Open race to end our Warwick Farm preview and the day’s card, and there’s a case to be made for a few of them, including Heed The Omens.

Heed The Omens has turned in some improved performances recently and was rewarded with a close win in BM72 company last time out.

He’s hard fit, the mile looks to suit, and we can have an each way play this time.
