The second golfing major of the season comes to us from Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina with Xander Schauffele looking to defend his PGA Championship crown he claimed at Valhalla last year.
The form of the three favourites coming in is exceptional with Scottie Scheffler coming off a gap job win at Colonial, Rory McIlroy fresh off his drought-ending Masters win and Bryson DeChambeau winning the most recent LIV event.
We are in for a big major week.

Quail Hollow is one of the most revered courses on the PGA Tour and is in rare company as a regular tour venue to also be used as a major course.
It is a beast of a course that will suit the bombers – seen by the fact Rory McIlroy has won here four times.
A strong iron game, particularly from distance, is important.
It is a tough course to score on so avoiding bogeys and taking advantage of the Par 5s is key.
Form on the greens is necessary.

BEST BET
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU
There is no disputing the form of the three clear favourites coming into the 2025 PGA Championship but suspect the value sits with LIV bomber Bryson DeChambeau.
Regardless of your views on LIV, one thing has been clear: it has not hurt the game of DeChambeau.
He has been airborne recently in the breakaway league with a win in Korea and three more Top 10s in his last four starts while he finished T-5 at Augusta.
He has now finished Top 6 in four of his last five majors including winning his second US Open last year.
He has finished Top 4 in three of his last four PGA Championship starts.
With a perfect profile as a bomber who can drain putts, he is the top play this week.
BEST VALUE
JUSTIN THOMAS
When a major was last played at Quail Hollow, it was Justin Thomas who lifted the trophy and with his return to form of late he could well do it again.
The PGA Championship has seen Justin Thomas and Brooks Koepka combine for five of the last nine so they clearly set it up in a way that suits JT.
He won the RBC Heritage two starts back and was T-2 last week at the Truist.
He has now finished Top 3 in six of his last 13 tournaments and is a major player this week.
JOAQUIN NIEMANN
Chilean superstar Joaquin Niemann has had an extraordinary year.
He has won three times on LIV on three different continents and he now has seven victories since December 2023.
He has played this course three times and improved on every occasion, most recent posting a T-18.
He ranks third in Driving Distance, fourth in GIR and eighth in Scrambling on LIV.
He fits the age, class and form profile to win a PGA Championship.
He has a major coming and it could well be this weekend.
BEST ROUGHIES
SEPP STRAKA
Straka is without question the pick of the roughies with his price this week reflective of his name cache and nothing else because his form is outstanding.
The Ryder Cupper is fresh of a win in the Truist last week – an elevated event – his second win of the year.
He is class and profiles so beautifully for here ranking Top 6 in Par 5 Scoring, Bogey Avoidance, GIR, Strokes Gained: Approach, Strokes Gained: Tee To Green, Proximity and Putting Average.
He is a Top 20 player getting no respect with his price in PGA Championship betting this year.
LEE HODGES
Hodges is not in the best of form but is a pure correlation course play with some outstanding from on the like-for-like courses.
He has posted back-to-back Top 25s at Riviera, he finished T-9 at Torrey Pines this year, was 12th at the 2023 Memorial and seventh at the 2022 CJ Cup.
Missed four straight cuts but did finish T-12 at Valhalla last year and this is a setup that suits.
WINNING NATIONALITY
USA
American players have won nine straight PGA Championships and they again dominate the top of the betting with two of the three favourites and a host of major contenders.
Very happy to take anything north of $1.60 on this prop.
TOP DANE
NIKLAS NORGAARD
Five Danes tee it up this week and Nogaard is the pick given his length off the tee that ranks second on the PGA Tour.
Norgaard also ranks Top 5 in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee and Par 5 Scoring.
