Two top five women’s flyweights collide at the UFC Apex this Sunday in Las Vegas for the latest UFC Fight Night.

Maycee Barber and Erin Blachfield remain two of the main contenders to Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko and are searching for a title shot with a win.

Mateusz Gamrot and Ludovit Klein go head-to-head in the Lightweight division as the co main event but there are plenty of quality fights to look forward to.

Our best three UFC Fight Night bets can be found below.

Maycee Barber vs Erin Blanchfield

Maycee Barber is on the precipice of a title shot having lost just twice in her 16 fight professional MMA career thus far.

One of those losses came against Roxanne Modafferi when she suffered a knee injury back in January 2020 and she returned over a year later with a loss to former Flyweight champion Alexa Grasso via decision.

Since those back to back defeats she has strung together six wins in a row including victories over Jessica Eye, Andrea Lee and Amanda Ribas, climbing to fifth in the rankings heading into this important fight.

Erin Blanchfield also has just two losses during her pro MMA career and just one of those has come since making her debut in the UFC back in 2021.

She is a BJJ black belt and has submission wins over Molly McCann, JJ Aldrich and Jessica Andrade by submission in the biggest promotion in the world.

She bounced back from a decision loss against Manon Fiorot last year with a win over former champion Rose Namajunas late last year.

Maycee herself has a Gracie BJJ purple belt as well as a second degree karate black belt which makes this a tantalising grappling contest should this fight go to the canvas.

It’s a ripper of a main event with both women more than capable of a finish but I’m siding with Blanchfield who has the ability to control the fight with her pace or on the ground.

Mateusz Gamrot vs Ludovit Klein

Mateusz Gamrotis currently ranked seventh in the Lightweight division and has three losses in the UFC since making his debut in 2020.

All three of those losses were via decision and the latest a very close split decision loss to Dan Hooker in Perth.

He has been competing against the very best in the division for five years and has wins over Jeremy Stephens, Arman Tsarukyan, Rafael Fiziev and Rafael dos Anjos.

Ludovit Klein is a well rounded mixed martial artist who has been on an absolute tear in recent times, earning him a shot at one of the best in the division.

The Slovakian is unbeaten in his last seven fights and has 17 finishes in 28 professional MMA fights.

This looms as one of the most entertaining fights on the entire card and I’m siding with the more experienced fighter in Gamrot to score points when the fight is standing.

Dustin Jacoby vs Bruno Lopes

Dustin Jacoby turned 37 in April but remains one of the most dangerous Light Heavyweights in the sport.

Starting his MMA career in 2010, he had stints in the UFC, Bellator and other smaller organisations with mixed success.

He had a somewhat successful kickboxing career in between in MMA fights, competing in Glory and won six of his last eight fights there.

Competing in Dana White’s Contender Series in 2020 earned him a contract and was unbeaten in eight straight fights which included a draw against Ion Cutelaba.

13 of his 20 career wins have been via KO/TKO and he keeps his distance well when striking and has plenty of power.

Bruno Lopes made his pro MMA debut way back in 2013 but has had just 15 fights resulting in 13 wins.

He failed at his first attempt at earning a UFC contract through DWCS where he suffered his first loss but was successful a second time around last year.

A decision win in his UFC debut in January has earned him a shot against a veteran like Jacoby and he’ll need to be at his very best to combat the experience and boxing of his opponent to be victorious.

He has a few more pathways to victory which is evident in his five submission wins and he is the value play in what should be a cracker of a fight.
