Check out our Daily Racing Tips for Friday 20th February below, including Canterbury best bets and Cranbourne tips!
HAY STREET is second up and primed to strike at Canterbury.
The Capitalist gelding is a five-start maiden, but he’s finished the runner up three times and returned from a break to finish second behind the impressive Journeyman at Warwick Farm earlier this month.
With natural improvement, he looks ready to go one better this evening.

PHINEAS takes good and consistent form into the first at Cranbourne this evening.
Having won in maiden company here two starts back, the Shamus Award gelding wasn’t far away stepping up in grade last time out.
In peak order and under a senior hoop tonight in Ben Melham, I’m confident he can win again.

GOLD MEDALLIST is second up and open to big improvement this evening at Cranbourne.
Having gone through her debut prep unbeaten in four starts, Gold Medallist suffered her first defeat when returning to action out at Sale earlier this month.
She was clearly underdone and I am happy to put a line through that run, with natural improvement expected here.

RUMOURS ABOUND takes winning form into another nice race tonight at Canterbury.
Rumours Abound dusted off the cobwebs with a fair performance to finish fourth over 1000m at Wagga when resuming and enjoyed plenty of improvement into a dominant victory in BM62 company last time out.
This is another rise in class, but she’s open to further improvement and I think it’s a perfect opportunity for her to transition into metro company.
