You can find out Daily Racing Tips for Tuesday June 30th below, featuring Ballarat best bets.
Apache Sunrise is fit and ready to win at Ballarat today.
The Pierata filly finished off the pace at her first run back this time but has since only just been denied in races at Stawell and here on the Ballarat synthetic.
In peak order today and drawn well, she might not get a better opportunity to win.

| Racing well recently. Last start sat on the speed and boxed on steadily 2nd of 11 at this track Mdn-Sw on June 21 over 1100m, 1.3 len behind Call Me Maura with 58kg at $5.50. Before that held ground to the line 3rd of 8 at Stawell Mdn-Sw on May 18 over 1100m, on a slow track; 2.25 len behind Positive Image carrying 57.5kg at $5. Close to a win and gets chance. | |||
Happy to give Olivia Rose another chance today in an open race at Ballarat.
The Written Tycoon mare was a little out of her depth in midweek metro company last time out, but her two runs prior to that were full of merit.
She steps out today a fit horse and should relish a return to country company.

| Last start ran second last of 9 at Sandown-Lakeside Bm66 on June 3 over 1200m, in the wet; 4.5 len behind Lauberhorn with 57.5kg at $8.50. Before that 5th of 12 at Pakenham Bm66 on May 15 over 1200m, on a slow track; 1.5 len behind Zunna with 56kg at $3.70. Needs the firmer footing and previous form is good for this. | |||
I’m eager to have something on Rose Of Shalaa today back on the synthetic.
The Shalaa mare hasn’t enjoyed racing on two heavy tracks since resuming, but there is no doubt that her fitness has improved for those hit-outs.
On the synthetic today I am expecting noticeable improvement, and she looms as a genuine each way contender in something of this quality.

| Third-up today. First-up ran last of 16 at Warrnambool F&M Bm70 on May 7 over 1400m, on a wet track; 8 len behind Geffina carrying 57kg at $21. Last start ran last of 12 at Geelong Bm62 on June 19 over 1425m, on rain affected going; 19 len behind Eleanor Dumont with 59kg at $31. Hasn’t won in 8 starts at the distance so must improve. | |||
Life Sentence takes winning form into another nice race at Ballarat today.
He mixed his form a little earlier this prep, but Life Sentence returned to the winner’s stall thanks to an eye-catching performance here last time out.
There’s no doubting his condition and something like this looks the next logical target.

| Last start favourite; ran on from midfield and won by a long-neck at this track Bm66 June 16 over 1400m defeating Shooter Mcgavin with 57.5kg at $2.90. The race before that sat on the speed and boxed on steadily 6th of 11 at Ballarat Bm62 on April 30 over 1500m, 3.5 len behind Upstage carrying 60kg at $21. Loves it here and can go back to back. | |||
