THE QUIET IMMORTAL steps out today a fit horse and ready to win.
The I Am Immortal gelding has improved noticeably with each of three runs back this time, including near misses at Wangaratta and Cranbourne at each of his last two.
In peak order today, I think he’ll be offered a better opportunity to win.

NATIONAL CODE is third up into a winnable race at Bendigo this afternoon.
Having finished off the pace behind the likes of Ten Commandments at Sandown when resuming, National Code enjoyed plenty of improvement into an eye-catching run for second on the Caulfield Heath last time out.
This looks to be a weaker race, and he can go one better.

MAGNETIC CHESS takes winning form and improvement into the penultimate race at Bendigo this afternoon.
The Magnus gelding was competitive without recording an elusive victory during his debut prep, but returned to action with an improved effort to win at Mt Gambier.
This is harder, but he’s got plenty of upside and he looks more than capable of going on with it.

OMNIC rates as a key winning chance again in the last at Bendigo.
The Ciaron Maher-trained gelding has continued to improve with racing this time, culminating in a nice performance to get up over a mile at Cranbourne last time out.
In peak order today, from a good draw and with some relief in the weights, he can win again.
