There’s a short-priced favourite going around here in Spenzalot, but I am actually keen to take him on today with RING AHOY, who I think is ideally placed.
Ring Ahoy has been racing in consistent form this time in, winning two of his last five starts and finishing the runner up on as many occasions, finding form around some classy opposition.
In peak order today, this is one of the weaker tasks he’s been set for a short while and I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.

BIG LON is second up and primed to strike at Tamworth.
The Boulder City gelding finished second on debut at Dubbo back in March and was immediately put away, returning to action to only just miss here last month.
With natural improvement, he can begin his journey through the grades today.

OAKFIELD MARS is fit and ready to break her maiden today at Tamworth.
The Smart Missile mare has improved with each of three competitive performances back from a spell and was last seen finishing second, beaten just over a length by Zousanity here.
In peak order today, she might not be offered a better opportunity to win.

LYON takes winning form into another nice race at Tamworth today.
The Zoustar gelding mixed his form a little as his fitness improved earlier this prep, but he stormed into the winner’s stall at each way odds here last time out.
In peak order now, he can go on with it.
