As the Sydney Spring Carnival continues to ramp up, we’ll be racing on the Kensington track at Randwick this Wednesday, September 9th, and seven races are on the program.
We’re looking at a Soft (5) track at publish, while the rail will be set out two metres around the entire course.

This looks a competitive maiden, with Stitzer the clear market elect after resuming with an unplaced effort, and the John O’Shea and Tom Charlton-trained colt now dropping back in grade.
Rouladen has been knocking on the door with four consecutive placings, including three seconds, while Royal Princess has also been consistent with placings at her past three starts.
STITZER (11) looks ready to improve off his latest effort and with the in-form Zac Lloyd aboard he’s the one for me.

Was too bad to be true fresh and can improve sharply with the rise in trip. | |||
Caviar brings solid recent form into this after finishing second and then third at her past two starts, and she looks ready to break through.
Unhinged also has plenty of upside after resuming with a fourth following two placings last campaign, while Wonka has been consistent with a second and third from his past two starts.
UNHINGED (3) has the class and upside, and he’s the one I’m siding with.

Disappointed fresh but strips fitter and gets JMac, so have to respect. | |||
This looks a competitive race, with Threads bringing the strongest recent form after three straight placings and another solid effort last time.
Movie Star has won two of his past three and draws well, while Low Key has obvious upside after her strong return in the Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes.
LOW KEY (2) looks the one with class and the most scope to improve, and I’m keen to be with her.

Pierro Lad is flying with three straight wins and has now strung together four victories from his past five, and he rates as a key winning chance again.
Mazis resumed to finish third in a similar race after winning two of three last time in, while Columbus has also been consistent and gets James McDonald aboard.
PIERRO LAD (1) is in career-best form and looks well placed again, and I am keen to stick with him on an each way basis.

The start before that tracked the speed and boxed on steadily; won by a neck in a Cl1 at Hawkesbury on August 11 over 1500m on a soft track defeating Don’s Party carrying 59kg at $3.40. Form hard to knock and deserves obvious respect. | |||
Deep Pleasure brings winning form into this contest, having finished runner-up at her past two starts and earning the highest rating in the field.
Stallone has also shown good improvement with a win and second placing from two starts since resuming, while Pierata’s Gem comes off a solid second and draws nicely in Barrier 3.
DEEP PLEASURE (2 is fit, formed and can win again.

Varuni has won both starts this preparation and looks ready to make it three straight, although she does face a rise in class here.
Cafe Au Lait resumed with a strong second and can improve sharply second-up, while Regal Problem returns from a spell after winning at her first race back this time.

Last start favourite; ran on from midfield and won by 1.5 len in a Bm66 at Scone on August 17 over 1300m on a rain affected track defeating Think Back carrying 57kg at $2.10. Deserves obvious respect but this is a bit tougher. | |||
Tough Guy brings excellent recent form with back-to-back wins, while Verbil has a strong overall record and gets a handy claim with 3kg off his 62.5kg.
Komodo Dragon resumed with a solid second, and looks well placed to improve off that effort, despite drawing barrier 10.
