Having raced greenly before finishing down the order at Seymour on debut in July, COURTING (4) was sent back to the trials and returned to action to fill the minors on the Pakenham synthetic most recently.
Having since trialled again, she’s got plenty of upside, gets into this race with a light weight and looks as though she’ll be suited getting further out in trip today.

We haven’t seen BARRACKS (3) in action since May, but after a couple of near misses when finishing the runner up in races at Newcastle and Hawkesbury, he was last seen finishing on the placegetters’ heels in black type company in Brisbane.
A couple of recent trials add further confidence and from a low draw, he should get every chance today.

ANTHROPOID (4) has missed placing only once in four runs back this time, breaking his maiden at Wyong before a couple of smart performances to only just miss when up in grade at his two latest.
In peak order this afternoon and down in the weights, he gets the services of James McDonald and launches from the ideal barrier 4.

REGAL PROBLEM (5) was an easy winner in BM64 company at Gosford when resuming last month and continued her positive journey through the grades when getting up again at Randwick-Kensington at her only other start this prep.
Fitter third-up, slightly further out in trip and from the good draw, she’ll take plenty of beating again.
