GILGEOUS (8) is third up and primed to strike today at Bendigo.
Having debuted with a fair performance to finish just over a head behind the winner at Echuca in August, Gilgeous was only just denied again when finishing the runner up here last time out.
With further improvement, this is a great opportunity to go one better.

CAB FRANC (2) is second up and open to improvement today at Bendigo.
The Frankel colt trialled up well ahead of his debut but clearly needed that experience to find his feet, finishing a credible fifth on the Caulfield Heath.
There doesn’t look to be as much depth engaged today and Jabez Johnstone can give him a good steer from a low draw.

OUR JUSTIFY (11) looks well placed to get up at Bendigo today, in my opinion.
Our Justify has returned to action in sharp form this time, placing at each of her first four runs back before breaking back into the winner’s stall when returning from a freshen up here at Bendigo.
I’m confident she’ll only improve for that hit-out and she can go on with it today.

| Form hard to fault. Last start favourite; ran on from midfield and won by 1.3 len in a Bm66 at this track on September 20 over 1400m defeating Shaalute carrying 57kg at $2.50. The race before that 2nd of 12 in a Bm62 at this track on July 30 over 1400m, on a slow track; neck behind Puglia with 59kg at $2.80. Very hard to beat again. | |||
REGAL MIGHT (2) rates as a key winning chance again at Bendigo.
The Magnus gelding has continued to steadily improve with racing this time in and was last seen finishing second, beaten a head here at Bendigo.
In peak order today, I don’t think he’ll get a better opportunity to get up.
