2025 Tapp-Craig Results
The official Tapp-Craig 2025 Results & Finishing Order will be listed below once the next edition of the $500,000 race is run and won on Saturday October 11, 2025.

- 1st: No. 6 Ohope
- 2nd: No. 2 Farnicle
- 3rd: No. 1 Estremo
Ohope ($5.50) delivered a strong win in the 2025 Tapp-Craig results at Rosehill, surging home under Tommy Berry to claim the Listed feature for three-year-olds.
Trained by Michael Freedman, the up-and-comer made the most of barrier six and a Good-rated track to notch his biggest career victory to date in the $500,000 event.
Berry gave the Godolphin colt a patient ride, settling just off the speed before producing him at the right time to reel in Farnicle and Estremo in the final stages.
The win was a breakthrough for the son of I Am Invincible, who had been building nicely this prep and was well-supported in early markets.
His closing sectionals were sharp, and the win puts him firmly in the frame for upcoming spring targets, potentially including the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes or even a tilt at the Coolmore Stud Stakes if connections opt to freshen him.

Tapp-Craig Tips
Top Tapp-Craig betting tips include looking for the in-form three-year-olds with winning form over at least 1200m, any graduates out of earlier Group status events in Sydney during the spring and those dominant gallopers in the frame for the $1 million Callander-Presnell later in the spring.
Looking for the in-form fillies in the mix is another key Tapp-Craig tip with the opening two editions won by fillies with Opal Ridge (2022) and Makarena (2023) before the 2024 win by the colt Anode.
2025 Tapp-Craig Tips
Our Ladbrokes’ insider Tapp-Craig 2025 race tips will be provided below the week of the race so stay tuned for the top three-year-olds to back this season.
Each Way: No. 4 Single Choice
SINGLE CHOICE (5) shapes as a genuine value play in the Tapp-Craig, with the 15/1 quote at time of publish looking very appealing for an Each Way ticket. Matt Cumani’s Anders gelding arrives with confidence after back-to-back wins, including a dominant 4.25-length maiden breakthrough at Ballarat and a tough BM64 victory at Bendigo carrying 59kg. That last run was especially impressive given how far back he settled and the ground he made up under a big weight. He faces stronger opposition here, but drops to a handy 55kg, draws well for a soft run, and gets Tyler Schiller aboard. Expect him to track the speed and potentially run a bold race at big odds.
